I recently went and changed out my rear rotors, lines, + painted the calipers and noticed that the brake line writeup very briefly talked about the "horse-shoe clip retainer". I am to lazy to look in the manual for the exact name, but its the piece that goes on the lip on the hose which essentially holds in up so that you can then easily thread in the nut into the brake line. I can e-mail you the pictures I took especially for this piece. I also recommend a flat head screw driver to loosen it free being as you don't crimp any part of it, and re-applying it I use the flat head and a small mallet hammer, or you can auctially just finger tighten it, I did on the lower ones.
